How MVP votes and player ratings work
From Bronze to Legend: what moves your rating and how to level up your player card.

Every PitchUp player has a player card with a rating. It grows with the games you play, the goals you score and the MVP votes you receive, and your card upgrades through four tiers as your rating climbs. Here is how it works and how to level up.
What moves your rating
- Games played: every match you play counts.
- Goals: scoring adds to your rating.
- MVP votes: the biggest boost of all.
MVP votes
After each match, players vote for the best player on the pitch. MVP votes are the biggest boost to your rating, so they reward more than goals: a great pass, a big save or simply making the game better for everyone can win votes.
The four card tiers
- Bronze: under 60.
- Neon: 60 to 74.
- Gold: 75 to 89.
- Legend: 90 and above.
How to level up
- Play regularly. Games played count, and regular games mean more chances at MVP votes.
- Play for the team. Unselfish players tend to win votes.
- Show up on time. Reliable players get invited back and play more.
